cougars

Apollo is a male cougar born in 2013.  He was previously at a private facility that was primarily run by men, which he didn't like any of them.  We were asked to take him and we were happy to do so.  He has adjusted very well and even likes some of our male volunteers now.  He loves his neighbor, Bosu, and when Bosu sprays toward his enclosure it almost becomes like catnip to Apollo!  Cougars can live up to 20 years while under human care.
